The truly independent alt-rock deities, Brick + Mortar stopped by Austin in support of their album Dropped. It’s an exacting name for the first record they released after getting dropped by their label. Nonetheless, it is a phenomenal album and the work sounds even better live!
Brick + Mortar pulled out all the stops; a Grim Reaper and pasties wearing goblin made an appearance during new single/alt rock anthem Dead Moon. Projection and stage props were often employed during the performance, adding an additional visual layer to the outstanding show. The band added extra feels and lols when they popped a balloon filled with hand written “good things” at the end of “Terrible Things”.
