Tangerine, comprised of sisters Marika on vocals/guitar and Miro on drums with their childhood friend Toby, opened up for Bleachers and got the crowd bopping and dancing. The style of music changed from song to song, ranging from slower slacker pop rock to swift paced surf rock punctuated by technical drumming that would double up on the eighth notes. The band demonstrated they are more than comfortable with weaving in and out of different genres with ease, tied together with Mariko’s doo wop smooth vocals.
