UPSAHL’s “Melt Me Down” tour made a stop at The Parish in Austin on September 17, 2024. The friendly venue was the perfect setting for her exciting performance, which was raw, showcasing their unique blend of pop and punk influences and their relatable and unapologetic lyrics. The night kicked off with a high-energy set that had the crowd instantly hooked. Standout tracks included “Drugs,” “People I Don’t Like,” “12345SEX,” and “IDFWFEELINGS,” each song energizes the audience to sing and dance along. A highlight of the evening was when UPSAHL’s sister joined her on stage for a couple of songs. In addition to their original tracks, UPSAHL infused the setlist with two awesome covers: the rebellious “Heads Will Roll” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and a thrilling take on The Ting Tings’ “That’s Not My Name,” both of which sent the crowd into a frenzy. The night ended with UPSAHL throwing water on the crowd, a playful and refreshing finale for a “Melt Me Down” tour concert.
