Weezer delivered an unforgettable performance at the Moody Center in Austin on September 27, 2024, as part of their Voyage to the Blue Planet tour. The band, led by Rivers Cuomo, took the stage at 9:20 PM, immediately captivating the audience with a setlist that spanned their extensive discography. Highlights included fan favorites like “Buddy Holly,” “Island in the Sun,” and “Hash Pipe.” The band also performed tracks from their newer projects, including “All My Favorite Songs” from OK Human and “Run, Raven, Run” from SZNZ: Autumn.
Weezer’s nostalgic charm was evident, especially when they played hits from their iconic Blue Album, taking the crowd on a journey through their 30-year career. We were swept up in the energy as Cuomo’s unmistakable vocals and razor-sharp guitar riffs resonated through the Moody Center, amplifying the excitement with each song. The stage visuals were stunning, enhancing the show with vibrant imagery that perfectly complemented the band’s high-energy performance, creating an immersive, and unforgettable experience for us all.
